The Aurora building is a 95,531 SQ FT Grade A 7-storey new build office block in the heart of Finzels Reach, Bristol. The building is BREEAM Outstanding & LEED Gold accredited and has been classified as one of the highest performing buildings in the UK outside of London.

At the time of its completion, Aurora was the only building outside London and one of just six in the UK to achieve the BREEAM Outstanding environmental award. It holds a LEED Gold sustainability standard and a Platinum Wired Score accreditation for connectivity and digital infrastructure. The stunning building comprises as one of the many developments of the Finzels Reach area of Bristol and proudly stands out as an award-winning environmentally friendly new build.

Finished to an exceptionally high standard in June 2018, the building was 85% pre-let at practical completion, showcasing the demand that this one-of-a-kind building generated from businesses in the area.

We were involved early in the development process by Willmott Dixon who greatly assisted us in collaborating with the whole design team to produce a well-coordinated and elegantly designed building. This approach also allowed us to involve our supply chain early which aided the expansion of knowledge within our team and added a much needed positive value.

Amongst other Mechanical and Electrical services, we carried out:

• Roof mounted high efficiency plant

• Office floors served via fan coil units

• Flat panel LED Lighting

• Illuminated feature staircase

• Building Controls System

• Roof mounted PV
   

We received a great deal of positive feedback from the design team on the quality of our installation on Aurora which is always a rewarding thing to hear after a challenging project.
