National Apprenticeship Week provides an excellent opportunity to celebrate the vital role apprenticeships play in shaping the future of industries like ours.
At CMB, we are proud to offer apprenticeships that provide hands-on experience, mentoring, and professional development to the next generation of engineers. Our apprenticeship programme helps young talent gain invaluable skills and insights, allowing them to contribute to innovative projects while working alongside experienced professionals. We firmly believe in the power of learning on the job and the importance of investing in future talent to ensure the continued growth of CMB, and this has been proven in our recent investment into our new training workshop which is already paying off.
Pictured below are Marcus Fowler, Louis Spillane, Rhys Gathergood, Tyran Brookman, Calvin Fahiya and Dylan Williams who are in the process of completing their Heating & Ventilation Apprenticeship with CMB. All are currently based onsite at Fairwater Community Campus in Cardiff, where we are acting as interim Principal Contractor.

Not only do we want to highlight our own apprentices at Fairwater Community Campus, but also from our valued subcontractors, including Evans Electrical, Dudley's Aluminium, and Sam Drylining. Each apprentice gave a comment on how they knew what apprenticeship they wanted to do, what their favourite thing about working for their employer is and what’s the best piece of advice they’ve received in the industry. Scroll through the images below to see their answers.
