The past twelve months have been enormously challenging for many people across Britain and this includes the individuals and organisations working on some of the UK’s biggest construction projects. Restrictions and safety measures have put pressure on the people in charge of delivering high quality projects to clients amid a global pandemic. Even with these additional challenges, CMB Engineering has continued to be the “can-do” contractor, delivering high quality services for some of the UK’s biggest principal contractors. This attitude led to us recently being awarded the South Wales Quality Award by ISG.
Group Managing Director, Steve Borley and Operations Director, John Green received the award from Kevin McElroy, Project Director at ISG. Other suppliers that also took home awards for their work with ISG were Midwest Formwork (Supply Chain Partner Award) and Rowecord Total Access (Safety Award).
ISG Project Administrator commented: "Congratulations to CMB Engineering for winning our Quality Award for the South Wales region this year. Its great to see a company representing the ISG values of Dream Smart & Always Care. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication over the last year."
2020 will most definitely go down as a year of challenges but it will also go down as a year of achievements and accomplishments.
Here’s hoping that the quality awards and other achievements continue into 2021 but that the challenges begin to ease.
