The CMB team have made good progress on the KLA UK R&D and Manufacturing site in Newport over the last 10 weeks. Since our last project update, both the Manufacturing Hall and R&D cleanroom have advanced well, with the final fix and finishes nearing completion in preparation for environmental and stability testing.
The compressed air plant is now in position and undergoing final connection, the Wet Systems have been flushed, dosed and balanced, and the boilers and chillers are now commissioned and operational.
We have also commenced the Fit-Out of the first-floor expansion space with the partition wall umbrella details and stud walls well underway. Externally, the new plant room ground works are due to commence in earnest.
