THE JOB:
As Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for contributing planned and reactive electrical tasks on a daily, to many of our sites including installations and breakdowns.
The role will be based 2 Days a week at one of our Static Facilities Management Sites in Newport, and 3 Days a week on various other sites predominantly in South Wales.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):
Ensure all PPM tasks are carried out as set out the Maintenance Manager.
Carry out routine plant health check inspections and spot checks of site conditions.
Report any defects or failures and communicate with others.
Attend breakdowns and look to rectify on site and make arrangements for repairs.
Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as emergency lighting, Portable Appliance Testing (P.A.T.) Equipment, small power, thermal imaging, RCBO, surge protection and continuity testing where necessary.
Communicate often with clients to maintain confidence.
Maximise Site Equipment / Availability / Performance / Quality, relate equipment performance to KPI Targets and react to breakdowns whilst offering fault-finding techniques.
Keep up to date with Maintenance Schedules and associated documents.
Provide out of hours assistance on an on-call rota basis.
Update the Maintenance Report Sheets and ensure all equipment reported fields are followed precisely and updated with concise and detailed information.
Actively offer support to colleagues when required.
Offer feedback and improvement suggestions to Senior Staff.
Carry out various other Maintenance Inspections to ensure optimum visual impact to clients and visitors.

MUST HAVE:
18th / 19th Edition
Previous Experience with installation and maintenance role.
Relevant Electrical Qualification
Fault Finding
Full Clean Driver’s License.
